I decorated for Ramadan, just in time. What can I say, I’m quite the procrastinator.
Even though some days I think Mariyah does fast, I am aware she has no idea why momma is decorating, but she sure did have fun trying to destroy them, that’s for sure.
My first project is a burlap door wreath. I saw one once at Michael’s, and as soon as I saw how much it cost, I thought, “Psh, I can do this!” And that I did!
I am guilty of having one too many empty, unused picture frames stored away. I pulled one of them out, and created a chalkboard entryway sign as my very own Ramadan countdown.
I didn’t want to over do it, so this is the last piece of decor, I promised my husband I would, for now. This DIY tassel Ramadan Garland was super easy and very inexpensive! I made the tassels out of gift tissue paper and wire. Literally, that’s it.
There you have it! I hope these few DIY Ramadan projects have inspired you to “spark” your inner Ramadan spirit.
Happy first day of Ramadan! Now see you in 30 days, or so. 😉
